The Missing Link... a simulation applied to the « CAV «  numbers
Every CAV – number brought me closer to the key to the mystery of the « disappeared batch » claimed in so many books. I just compiled the list of traced and still existing numbers, got them in a spreadsheet and counted the missing figures between them. We consider these numbers as MIA. The result in following list.

The largest « disappeared » number is 167. So far less than 5% then the “sunken batch” in the literature! At the end of the French Order. Around CAV 4510 (or maybe from CAV 4510 upwards) the machines (325 units) were delivered to the United Kingdom; the very last batch of about 150 ~ 165 machines were redirected to Canada.

During my research, I got only few numbers from Canada and very few from the United Kingdom. But I am sure there are more machines to be discovered. To be continued...

REMARKS:
Please bear in mind that I received many numbers in numerous ways and often through “third persons”. So I can’t guarantee that this list is waterproof... Also this is a “snapshot” in time, one step upon the time line in human history. The machines can be sold to another country or even scrapped on the moment of publishing.

If a reader has access to additional numbers (and pictures of them) – you are invited to contact the author on this subject.
